DOOM HEART FESTIVAL 2023
FORMALIST (IT)

The FORMALIST unit was founded in 2014 when long-time associated individuals from the Italian heavyweights FORGOTTEN TOMB [vocals], MALASANGRE [bass & drums] and VISCERA/// [guitars] joined forces with the aim to open new gates to total sonic horrors. The band released the first album “No One Will Shine Anymore” in 2018 through Wooaaargh, Toten Schwan and Third-I-Rex to critical acclaim.
Their latest Masterpiece album “We Inherit A World At The Seams" was released in 2023 via Brucia Records.
REMINA (DE)

Remina was formed in 2021 by Heike Langhans (ex-Draconian, ex-ISON, :LOR3L3I:) and Mike Lamb (Sojourner) between New Zealand and South Africa. Building crystalline cathedrals of haunted Cosmic Doom inspired by the endless expanse of Space; gothic metal, doom, darkwave, and minimalist post-metal elements weave together to form the core of Remina’s sound. The band’s debut album, STRATA, was released on November 11th 2022, and the live lineup was rounded with the addition of Mauro Ragnoli from (EchO) on second guitar, Giovanni Feroldi from Ghostheart Nebula and Obsolete Theory on bass, and Riccardo Floridia from Sojourner on drums.
Pantheïst (UK)

Pantheïst are living proof that a strong vision coupled with determination can take you very far. Founded in Antwerp, Belgium in 2000 but having since moved to London and subsequently Cardiff, the band has always followed its own course, producing a uniquely varied brand of funeral doom in the process. Whether it’s the symphonic funeral doom of ‘O Solitude’, the church doom of ‘Amartia’, the progressive leanings of ‘Journey Through Lands Unknown’, the accessible slomo metal of the self-titled album, the atmospheric brutality of ‘Seeking Infinity’ or the cinematic doom of ‘Closer to God’, the funereal collective has continuously reinvented itself without ever losing sight of its funeral doom roots. Its ability to twist and turn around the genre has also translated convincingly on stage, where the band has performed in over 15 countries, offering hypnotic funereal masses rather than typical gigs in memorable atmospheric locations such as the St Gilles-in-the-fields church in London and the AMUZ and St- Gummarus churches in Antwerp. After its move to Cardiff in 2019, Pantheïst has in typical fashion risen again from its ashes, building two strong and distinct studio and live line-ups, performing in Wales and the South West of England and making plans for a new single as well as gigs in London and several European destinations in the second half of 2023.
Clouds (RO)

Formed in 2010 as a solo project, Clouds is today considered one of the most hard working bands in the Doom Metal sphere and its more atmospheric subgenre, Funeral Doom.
Since its inception, the band have released five studio albums , one EP and several singles, all receiving excellent feedback from both media and public alike, bringing Clouds closer to names such My Dying Bride, Shape Of Despair, Swallow The Sun or Saturnus, all who later on became either touring buddies and sharing weeks on the road or costant studio collaborators.Clouds are well known for their heartfelt shows and great atmosphere on stage. The band’s live activity includes patcipations to Europe’s finest Festivals such as Gothoom Open Air (SK), Doom Over London (UK), Doom Over Kyiv (UKR) and many others. Having over a decade of experiences in both live and studio work and even though having already released a studio album in 2021, the band released a masterpiece single, “Chasing Ghosts”, last July 2023.
